Egg Halua ( One Kind of Sweet-meat)

Ingredients:
1. Egg : 4
2. Sugar : 1 Cup
3. Thick Milk : 1 Cup
4. Ghee : 1/2 Cup
5. Cardamom (Elachi in Bangla) : Slight
6. Cinnamon (Daruchini in Bangla) : Slight
7. Pistachio (Pesta Badam in Bangla) : For serving
8. Raisin ( Kismis in Bangla) : For serving

Procedure :

At first you have to beat egg. Add sugar, thick milk, ghee with egg and beat the mixture properly. Then pour out the mixture in a pot and ignite the cooker. Then add Cardamom and Cinnamon with the mixture. The heat of the cooker should be mild.Stir the mixture frequently.You have to notice that the mixture should not get stuck with the pot. After sometime, the mixture will get congealed. When the water will be dried up bring down the pot . Spread the Pistachio and Raisin over the Halua and serv it.

Pan Cake

Ingredients:

1. Flour : 1 & 1/4 Cup
2. Baking Powder : 2 Tea Spoon
3. Salt : 3/4 Tea Spoon
4. Egg : 1
5. Milk (Luke Warm) : 3/4 Cup
6. Sugar : As Required
7. Oil : 3 Table Spoon for making batter

Procedure :

At First you will have to beat the egg. Add oil with it.Then make batter mixing egg,oil,milk,sugar,flour, salt and baking powder.Beat the mixture properly.After making batter
give slight oil on the pan . when the oil is hot give one big and spoonful batter on the pan. Then cover the pan with a lid . The heat should be medium. After some time the batter will take a form of round pan cake and it will be baked and swollen up. Repeat the same process for baking each pan cake.

Chicken Ball

Ingredients:

1.Boneless Chicken Paste: 1 Chicken
2.Ginger Pste: 1 Table Spoon
3.Garlic Paste: 1 Table Spoon
4.Soya Sauce : 1 Table Spoon
5.Salt : As Required
6.Flour : 2 Table Spoon
7.Cornflour : 2 Table Spoon
8.Egg : 1
9.Tasting Salt : Slight

Prcedure:

At first you have to mix chicken, Soya Sauce, Ginger, Garlic and salt and then marinade the mixture for an hour. After an hour you will have to add flour, cornflour, egg, tasting salt with the marinaded mixture and smear properly. Then make some balls from the mixture and fry till get brown color. This item should be served when it is hot. You can add sauce with it at the time of serving.

Rice Fritters


Ingredients:

1. Boiled Rice : 2 Cup
2. Egg : 1
3. Mince-Chicken: 1/2 Cup
4. Chopped Green Chilly : 2
5. Chopped Onion : 2 Table Spoon
6. Chopped Peanuts : 1 Tea Spoon
7. Tasting like Spice Powder (Gorom Mashlar Gura): Slight
8 Black Pepper Powder : 1/2 Tea Spoon
9. Salt : As Required
10. Spearmint (Pudina Pata) : 4 or 5
11 Oil : As required

Procedure :

Make a Mixture of all ingredients except oil. Make some balls from the mixture. Fry the balls till it gets brown color.Serve when the balls are hot and add sauce with it. Believe me the taste will be double.

Juice Cake ( Rash Pitha)

Juice Cake (It is called Rash Pitha in Bangla)

Ingredients:
1. Flour : 1 & 1/2 Cup
2. Butter Oil : 1 Table Spoon
3. Salt : Slight
4. Cardamom Powder (Elachi Gura)
5. Chopped Peanut : 1 Tea Spoon
6. Oil for Frying
7. Baking Powder : Slight

Juice Making ( It is called Shira in Bangla)

1 Cup Water, 1 Cup Sugar, 2 Table Spoon Lemon Juice

You can make Shira (Juice for Cake) boiling the mixture of all ingredients.

Procedure: Mix flour, Baking Powder and salt in hot water and stir properly. Then smear the mixture smoothly and make thin bread.Make the role of this bread and give it a round shape like biscuit. Then fry till it gets brown color. Then keep the cakes in juice for a while so that it can absorb the juice ( Shira) and become soft and sweet. At the time of serving spread the chopped Peanuts over the cakes (Pitha)
